I am a photographer and a painter.  For me, creation and compassion are intertwined. 

Painting and Photography is rooted in my love of people.  Every step of my process has been a deeper way to explore the human condition.

I began my journey working for some of the most prestigious chefs in Washington D.C.

I passionately design events for people that are near and dear to me - preparing delicious food and presenting it in a unique way. Learning the finesse of the culinary arts allowed me a creative outlet that literally nourishes those I love.

As a photographer, I create portraits that capture the essence of personality and peculiarities. The style of my portrait photography has spilled over into painting.

My paintings are intentionally obscured to invite the viewer to consider the idiosyncrasies and beautiful flaws that create the authentic people in my life. Empathy for others and attempting to understand what makes us individuals is what compels my creative spirit.
