Hello Fellow Villagers! Now that we have survived the hail storm to end all hail storms, we are now reeling from the clean up. Sunday evening greeted us with golf ball sized hail that came down in such a fury most of us couldn't even see across the street nor hear ourselves speak inside our own homes! The debris from the trees and broken glass from windows are now on everyone's agenda. The City of the Village sanitation will start making rounds next week to pick up any bags, limbs, cut-up vegetation and any other debris from the recent storm. The sanitation department has stated that all debris must be out at the curb and cut up into bundles small enough for one man to pick up. They will try to target certain areas but the areas have yet to be determined. There will be no limit to the amount of debris and no extra charge. For the next two weeks and possibly up to three weeks, The Village Sanitation will be coming by to pick up your storm trash.
